IGLA 2022

West Hollywood Aquatics and the Long Beach Grunions have joined forces to host IGLA 2022 in Greater Palm Springs, California, home of the LGBTQ+ community in the desert. Mark your calendars for Swimming, Water Polo, Exhibition Artistic Swimming, and, of course, the Pink Flamingo, to keep it simple unless you want more, and we will be offering more before, during, and after we drip dry under the sun.  After all, the average temperature is 87°F in April, though no promises. It could be hotter as you meet and greet and compete.
Registration for IGLA 2022 Palm Springs is scheduled to open very soon, with the IGLA 2022 website launching on January 13. We promise to keep you updated on what we are organizing. We know you want to have a good, no make that a great time, in the desert celebrating thirty-five years of making history in the aquatic community. Hotel options and social events are coming soon. Still, we will tell you that Swimming, the Artistic Swimming Exhibition, and the Pink Flamingo will take place at the Palm Springs Swim Center, with the swimming competition starting on April 7. The Artistic Swimming Exhibition and the Pink Flamingo starting the afternoon of April 10. Water Polo matches will be split between the Palm Springs Swim Center and the John H. Furbee Aquatic Center in Desert Hot Springs and begin on April 7. Both locations have on-site parking. 
All competitors must be vaccinated for COVID-19. We will have a section on the registration form that requires you to upload proof of your COVID-19 vaccination.
